Barecanvas was born from a love of beauty, a busy life, and a desire to make everyday routines a little simpler.

As a mum of four, I know first-hand that life can be busy. Beauty routines need to be practical, effortless and fit into real life - not add another layer of complication.

My background in beauty has shaped the way I think about skincare and everyday products. As a trained makeup artist, and through my experience working in a pharmacy beauty department, I spent years around beauty products, skincare and customers with all different skin types and needs.

Over time, I noticed how often people were reaching for products that were harsh, unnecessary or simply not suited to their skin, often because they were convenient, familiar and part of their everyday routine.

It made me think: there has to be a simpler way.

So I created Barecanvas.

Our reusable cleansing pads were designed as an easy, gentle alternative to single-use makeup wipes and cotton pads. Soft against the skin, practical enough for everyday use and made to be used again and again, they're designed to make cleansing feel effortless.

But I also wanted them to work for real life.

Because life doesn't always happen in your bathroom. That's why we created our handy wet bag too - making it easy to keep your used pads together when you're travelling, heading to the gym, going away for the weekend or simply on the go.

WHY WE CREATED IT

I wanted to create a cleansing option that was:

Convenient enough to take everywhere.
Reusable instead of reaching for another single-use product.

With my background in beauty and years of experience seeing what people actually use in their everyday routines, I knew what I wanted Barecanvas to be.
